3rd Lab Postcard Launched at Metarock Festival
The UNICRI Lab’s Office for Dialogue and Innovation will be present at the Metarock festival on 25th and 26th June 2009. The third Lab postcard on the theme of intercultural and inter-religious dialogue will be presented for the first time. The video will feature a woman reading a text from Arabic literature that will be subtitled in English.
Fabrizio Ramacciotti, a painter from Viareggio in Tuscany, will use the postcard as inspiration to create a piece of art, during the festival. The artwork will be displayed at the UNICRI stand at the Metarock festival.
One of the main aims of this new UNICRI Lab office (based in Lucca) is to take the UN closer to the people. To this end there is there will be open cameras left at the festival on 25th and 26th June at the UNICRI space, where festival goers will be invited to leave a message for the UN.
