Can dialogue and culture lead to security for citizens? This is the question that the Head of UNICRI’s Security Governance/Counter-Terrorism Laboratory, Francesco Cappé, will try to answer at a conference on the theme of urban security organised by the Democratic Party (Partito Democratico, PD) in Viareggio on 27 July 2009.

Cappé, a Tuscan by origin, will discuss this theme along with representatives from other organisations. Italian OSCE parliamentary Delegation, the Lega Nord, and UNESCO are among a few of the other organisations and political parties that will be present at the meeting.
