Brian Powrie, International Counter Terrorism Advisor of UNICRI’s Security Governance and Counter-Terrorism Laboratory, has been invited as a key speaker at the Counter Terrorism Conference that will take place in London, England on 17 and 18 November 2009, Brian will present and shed light on a range of major event security matters.

At present, Brian is engaged in Lisbon, Portugal, as UNICRI’s Senior Advisor on counter-terrorism and security governance matters. His significant experience in this regard is widely acknowledged internationally and he has worked all round the world in places such as Beijing, Moscow, London, Berlin, Lima, Hanoi, and Tokyo, New York.

The Counter Terrorism and Security Conference 2009 will have world renowned speakers with recent operational experience in the police, security services and the commercial world, who will share their knowledge and expertise. This event will give insightful and practical information to protect organizations from the devastating effects of terrorist attack. At the meeting there will also be briefings, and case studies designed by distinguished experts in the field.
