Enhancing intelligent operational/investigative capacities to counter trafficking of radiological and nuclear (RN) material in Eastern Europe
The main objective of the initiative was to organize a Trilateral Conference Georgia/Moldova/Ukraine on preventing trafficking of RN material in the Black Sea Region and to identify common needs and priorities. The project helped Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine to identify regional gaps and future joint actions to prevent the trafficking of RN material in the Black Sea Region. The capacity-building actions include the request for the development of a multimedia training curricula for security services, the assessment of national/regional legislation and the organization of a gamified table-top-exercise (TTX) on regional cooperation and exchange of information on countering RN trafficking.
