The United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) is launching a comprehensive study focusing on crimes associated with the mining and trafficking of critical minerals in Southeast Asia. We are seeking collaborators to be interviewed about their work experiences on this topic and to serve as members of our Expert Working Group.

A three-day workshop focused on integrating gender perspectives into preventing violent extremism (PVE) strategies concluded successfully in Nouakchott, Mauritania. The 1540 Compass is an e-journal published by the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) that is dedicated to advancing the objectives, awareness and implementation of United Nations Security Council resolution 1540 (2004) (UNSCR 1540) and its successor resolutions. The journal aims to be a trusted source of knowledge, analysis, and dialogue for countering the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) and their means of delivery by non-State actors.
Asi Caserta and UNICRI will collaborate to strengthen strategies for preventing and countering organized crime. The partnership was formalized with a memorandum of understanding, signed in the presence of Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Edmondo Cirielli.
